ABOUT THE PODCAST

The Path We Take Podcast: Real Stories. Real Culture. Real Journeys.

The Path We Take Podcast is a platform dedicated to uplifting the Haitian community by celebrating the stories, achievements, and resilience of Haitian people around the world. Hosted by Jeffrey Estiverne, a proud Haitian and Marine veteran, alongside his co-host Herby Fabius — a world traveler who journeys across the globe to find Haitians in different countries — the show highlights positive stories that promote Haiti’s culture, pride, and unity.

Each episode explores the inspiring paths of guests who are making a difference in their communities and careers, from athletes and musicians to entrepreneurs, restaurant owners, and cultural ambassadors. Together, Jeffrey and Herby bring listeners authentic conversations that showcase Haiti’s creativity, strength, and potential while challenging negative stereotypes and promoting a renewed image of the nation.

By highlighting Haitians at home and throughout the diaspora, The Path We Take connects generations through storytelling and shared identity. It shines a light on those who use their talents and journeys to represent Haiti in a positive way — whether through art, travel, sports, or business.

This podcast is more than a collection of interviews; it’s a cultural movement rooted in pride and purpose. The Path We Take continues to inspire and empower listeners to embrace their heritage, celebrate their roots, and believe in the beauty of Haiti.

Episode 7: Step into a powerful and eye-opening conversation with Angie on this episode. @LumerianSky

Herby and I sit down with our special guest, Angie, whose journey from Haiti to Brooklyn, NY, at a young age came with a major culture shock—one that shaped her perspective, resilience, and purpose. She shares what it was like adapting to a completely new world while holding on to her roots.  With a background in marketing and a high-paying career in the U.S., Angie made a bold and life-changing decision—she left it all behind to return to Haiti full-time. Today, she is the founder of LumerianSky, a company dedicated to helping individuals reconnect with Haiti through relocation services and guided tours in the southern region, specifically Les Cayes. Whether you're Haitian-born looking to return, curious about your roots, or considering a permanent move, her platform offers real support and guidance.  We also dive into an important conversation around holistic health, exploring the differences between alternative medicine and traditional medicine, and how both can play a role in personal wellness.  This episode is about courage, identity, purpose, and redefining success on your own terms.  🔔 Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more inspiring stories. 📲 Follow us on all platforms: @ThePathWeTakePodcast
